SALARY: £70 – 90k Per annum on experience.

DAYS: Monday to Friday

HOURS: 40-45 hours per week

CHILDREN: 6 year-old, 3 year-old, and 12 month-old baby

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a wonderful, committed, loyal, and child-led creative and alternative LIVE OUT nanny to join an amazing holistic family who live in Los Angeles but also spend some time in the summer in London. We have three children ages 6, 3 and 12 months and the role will involve working in a team with the mum, who is very hands on and another nanny. You will each focus on one or two children at a time. We are looking for a child led nanny who has a Steiner, Waldorf or Montessori, holistic approach and who loves working in a positive way with children providing them with opportunities to learn and grow through learning experiences. We follow a gentler parenting approach with natural consequences and like to talk and explain everything to the children rather than have any strict rules or discipline. The ideal candidate will be totally focused on the children and with a positive, proactive, gentle, engaging, and imaginative approach. Both parents work flexibly and often from home, so they want the nannies to be confident in taking complete sole charge, taking their own initiative, and having excellent communication skills to work with the members of the household. The parents love to be involved as much as they can when they are not working. It is essential you are honest, kind, laid back, and trustworthy. The role will include taking responsibility for all general organization for the children and arranging stimulating and engaging age-appropriate activities. We would also love the nanny to sometimes cook creative healthy, fresh meals for the children and to value their health-conscious diet. Successful applicants must be happy to live in both London and LA. The nanny  also needs to speak a fluent level of English, be able to swim, and a driver is essential. We are looking for someone who can offer commitment and be happy to join their team on a long-term basis.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• All nursery duties
• Minimum of 8 years experience working with multiple children using a holistic child-led approach.
• Planning and arranging age-appropriate activities
• Preparing healthy meals for the children and cleaning up after
• Keeping all children’s areas tidy and organized
• Taking the children to and from activities/days out by driving (a car will be provided). A driver is essential.
• Travel approximately twice per year
• Liaising with other members of the household and working in a team
• Flexibility to stay overnight if ever needed
• Successful applicants must be happy to live in both London and LA
• Speak a fluent level of English
• Be able to swim
