Works out as 40 hours per week pro rata

Sole Charge Nanny required to help a lovely family who are based in Barnes. The children are both at school from September which leaves a couple of hours per day to do some household management and family laundry. Driver essential as the schools are a 20 minute driver away and it is not possible by public transport. Both parents work full time in offices except for one day per week dad works from home. The ideal candidate will be an all rounder with a muck in attitude. You must take pride in your working areas as well as an interest in the children’s school life and social calendar.

Duties will include:

All family laundry

Standard nursery duties such as keeping the children’s play areas and bedrooms tidy

Prepping the families meal kits 3 days per week so that they can eat as a family when the parents get home.

No travel required

Planning of age appropriate educational activities both inside and outside the home and agreeing these plans in advance with the Employer.

Encouraging development in skills such as reading, writing, arithmetic, drawing, music, dressing, telling the time, etc. and supporting the children with their homework

Taking the children to and from school/clubs and activities

Taking the children to the doctor/health centre for check-ups

Supervision and arrangement of play dates/activities (at home or at friends) to be agreed in advance with the Employer.

Meal planning for household and organisation of weekly online food shop.

Occasionally running local errands e.g. taking clothes to charity shop, picking up drycleaning

Prepping a meal for the family to eat at the weekend such as a pie or lasagne.

This is a fabulous role for a Nanny who would like more of a work /life balance and is an allrounder that can stay on top of a household, food shop and the two children.
