Part-Time Sole Charge Nanny – Marlow Common, Marlow

A warm and reliable sole charge nanny is required for a lovely family based in Marlow Common, caring for two boys aged 5 and 2 years old.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive nanny who enjoys supporting young children’s development and creating a fun, structured environment.

Role Details

• Location: Marlow (Marlow Common)
• Position: Part-time, sole charge nanny
• Children: Two boys (ages 5 and 2)
• Start Date: ASAP, though the family are happy to wait until September for the right candidate
• Salary: £18–£20 per hour, depending on experience

Working Hours

• Monday: 12:30pm – 6:00pm
• Tuesday: 2:00pm – 6:00pm
• Wednesday: 1:00pm – 6:00pm
• Thursday: 2:00pm – 6:00pm

Additional hours may be available for housekeeping if desired.

About the Children

• Eldest (5 years): Attends school during term time
• Youngest (2 years): Attends Montessori nursery in the mornings during term time

The boys are active, curious and enjoy play, outdoor activities and engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• School and nursery pick-ups
• Planning age-appropriate activities and outings
• Preparing healthy snacks and simple meals
• Supporting development and routines
• Keeping children’s areas tidy and organised
• Occasional light housekeeping (optional additional hours available)

The Family

• Mum works full time from an office
• The family previously had an au pair who was much loved and stayed until returning home.
• They are now looking for a reliable, organised and proactive nanny who will become a valued part of family life

Requirements

• Driver with own car (essential)
• Previous childcare experience with similar ages
• Reliable, organised and energetic
• Ability to manage sole charge responsibilities
• References and right to work in the UK
