Temporary Nanny – Job Specification

Location: Mayfair, London

• Wednesday, 8th July: 4:00pm – Late
• Thursday, 9th July: 9:00am – 6:00pm
• Friday, 10th July: 10:00am – 8:00pm
• Sunday, 12th July: 12:00pm – 10:00pm

Children:

• Girl 5 years old
• Boy 3 years old
• Boy 15 months old

Overview:
A family visiting London is seeking a warm, proactive and experienced temporary nanny to assist with the care of their three children during several dates in July. The nanny will mainly support with the two younger boys, while working alongside the parent and cousin who will help with the eldest child and attend activities.

The children are described as lovely, playful and easy to manage. The family would love a nanny who enjoys being active with children and taking them out and about rather than staying indoors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the care of the children, primarily the two boys (aged 3 and 15 months)
• Working collaboratively with the parent in a “tag team” approach
• Taking the boys out for walks, playtime and activities using the travel pram
• Engaging the children in age-appropriate play and activities
• Supporting general routines and keeping the children happy and entertained
• Helping where needed during outings and family activities

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous nanny or childcare experience with toddlers and young children
• Energetic, friendly and proactive
• Comfortable working alongside parents
• Happy to take the children out and about locally
• Flexible with evening hours

Additional Information:
Another family member will be present to help with the eldest child and attend planned activities such as theatre outings.
