Role Overview

A warm and welcoming family recently relocated from Los Angeles are seeking an experienced and proactive Housekeeper for their lovely country home in Tongham, Surrey.

The role will initially run from ASAP until 1 July, with the potential for the position to become permanent from the end of August.

This is a child-friendly household with 11-year-old twins, so a positive and flexible attitude around children is important.

Due to the location of the property, a driver is required.

Key Responsibilities

Morning Routine

• Preparing and serving breakfast for the family
• Tidying kitchen and breakfast areas afterwards

Housekeeping

• Full daily cleaning and organisation of the home
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and general upkeep

Laundry & Wardrobe Care

• Excellent laundry skills required
• Washing, folding and organising clothes and linens
• High-standard ironing and garment care

General Household Support

• Keeping the home tidy and well presented
• Managing household supplies
• Assisting with occasional household tasks as needed

Requirements

• Previous private household housekeeping experience
• Excellent laundry and ironing skills
• Child-friendly and comfortable working in a family home
• Proactive, organised and reliable
• Driver required due to location
